a year ago had total knee replacement ever since my joints ache i have been going to the chiropracter and notice ligament/cartlidge is deteroating

the pain that I’m experiencing is not from the surgery; it feels like the pain I was having before the surgery. It is my understanding that I should not be feeling the same type of pain that I had prior to surgery. If you have had total knee replacement surgery what was your experience? If you needed to have it done on the same knee twice, why? Thank you.

I injured my knee when i was 14 playing soccer, i remember hearing it pop. It bothers me a lot now 6 years later. I never really got it checked out because i thought that the pain would go away, that i just needed time to let it heal up a little bit. The pain eventually went away but then i started noticing that my knee was giving out when i walked especially when i went up stairs. And these past 2 years it has gotten pretty bad, it gives out all the time, it pops like crazy when ever i move it, and i get these sharp pains in the left side of my knee that feel like they are down IN my knee. I havent been able to get it checked out because my insurance couldnt cover a specialist. Now i have a lot better insurance and can get it checked out but i dont want to go ahead with this unless there could be something seriously wrong. I did the symptom checker on webmd and it said that it could be my ACL joint and thats what my finace said and I trust his opinion since hes had a knee replacement and his other knee is bad. And I know that ACL tearing is common in sports injuires.

In total i have had 6 operations on my left knee. my knee was so bad that i had to have a knee replacement when i was 15. ever since , i have been getting constant pain from within my knee joint. i don’t know what to do as it is really making me depressed. are there any good knee supports out there for me to use? any help would be appreciated.

ps. could having a knee replacement at 15 cause these problems. i have had scans recently just to check but everything looks normal for a few years.

My mother’s age is 50+ , bulky and overweight thats why her joints do not support her complete weight. For several years she has been bearing pain in joints, the hands and legs get swollen. She awakes for almost half of the night every day. Kindly suggest what is the better option for her, Knee replacement or prolotherapy in which injection is given to strengthen joints or ligaments. She has already consulted so many doctor but the pain goes off for a short time and starts again.

I’m 15 and when I was 14, I was diagnosed with Reflex Neurovascular Dystrophy (RND). Basically, it causes the nerves to overfire and cause intense physical pain that can’t be touched by pain relievers. I would lie in bed and cry because my hips, knees, back, neck, fingers and elbow joints hurt SO BAD.
At one point, the pain in my knees got worse than everything else. I realized that physical therapy isn’t helping my condition in any way whatsoever…so my parents and I were talking about knee replacement surgery. My knees are extremely weak and worn down from the physical therapy and nerve damage. Would I be a candidate for any type of replacement to hopefully alleviate the pressure and pain off my knees? I wasn’t sure if a surgeon would replace your knees just because of nerve damage, and I can’t figure it out by searching on the Internet.

knee pain with inflammation around the knee joint, had three arthroscopes but Doctors cannot find out the reason for the inflammation, won’t consider a knee replacement, synovitis fluid creamy and discoloured no specific infections. Has anyone had similar condition?
