Life After Total Knee Replacements: part 7 still learning….
My mom had total knee replacement in both knees about 30 months before this video was taken. Before the surgery, she could not walk without extreme difficulty and pain. Thanks to the doctors at Abbott Northwestern Hospital, some great ceramic replacements and her determination, we see my mom living life again with her true self unveiled as she tries roller skating. Part 7…mom finds a little help from the wall to help balance when a young kid fell in front of her. Nobody hurt and mom takes it in her usual stride. Well done, Mom!!! Happy to see the real you again due to this surgery…so full of life, enjoy!!

My mom had total knee replacement in both knees about 30 months before this video was taken. Before the surgery, she could not walk without extreme difficulty and pain. Thanks to the doctors at Abbott Northwestern Hospital, some great ceramic replacements and her determination, we see my mom living life again with her true self unveiled as she tries roller skating. Part 5: Lots of new movement here in the Hokey Pokey…have to turn a circle in a confined space. We were glad we did not “take out” the little boy scout!
